January 2019

January has been cold and a little dreary at times, but we managed to find some clean air and cousins and have some fun. We went to Mantua with Steph/Dave, Britt, Robert, and Paula. We walked on the frozen lake until it started getting a little squishy and then headed up top for a walk around the lake. The kids had a blast in the snow. We then got 25 cent ice cream store at the Mantua General Store and then for pizza in Brigham City.

The kids being goofy. Soren is so kind to Ivy and she loves to sit with him and read stories or play silly games. She always calls him Soreny. Ivy loves to copy the girls whether it is wearing sunglasses like Piper or just being silly.

We headed South for a Martin Luther King weekend. The kids had a blast at the pool even if the walk there was about 45 degrees cold. We explored Pioneer Park in St George and found an old house and a slot canyon. I didn't know if I was brave enough or skinny enough to make it through, but I made it. Then the kids played on the rocks for an hour and didn't want to leave, especially Jet. He loves to climb and explore.
